Let's Make Salsa | Christian County

Love salsa and have a lot of tomatoes popping up in the garden? Come learn how to make your own and safely can it so you can store it outside the refrigerator. Properly home canned foods let you eat salsa you made this summer all year round! 4-Hers will learn the ins and outs of how to safely water bath can. Each person will get to take home their own jar of homemade salsa and salsa recipes.

This workshop will take place August 2 from 10-12:30PM at the Christian County Extension Office, 1120 North Webster St, Taylorville, IL.

Cost: $10 (Fee Waivers are available)

Youth ages 4th-12th grade
