Master the art of canning! Join Illinois Extension Nutrition and Wellness Educator
Rachel Mannen at
201 W. Kenyon Road, Suite 3, Champaign, IL 61820 for three canning workshops. Learn valuable skills to preserve your harvest and enjoy delicious homemade canned goods year-round. You'll get to practice your skills by making your own jar of jam, pickles, and salsa!
Time: 9 AM to 12 PMJune 25th: Jam
July 22nd: Pickles
August 21st: Salsa
There is a $15 fee for each workshop that helps cover your canning materials. Space is limited, so register before June 18th for the jam class, July 15th for the pickles, and August 14th for the salsa!
