Knot & Nurture: Macramé & Plant Propagation Workshop | Christian County Extension
Registration for this event is closed. Please contact the Christian County Extension Office at 217-287-7246 to be placed on a waiting list.
Join us for a fun, hands-on workshop where green thumbs and crafty hands come together! This program is perfect for both adults and kids, offering a unique opportunity to learn about houseplant propagation and create a macramé plant hanger to take home.
Participants will learn how to multiply houseplants using simple techniques and discover which plants are easiest to propagate and how to care for them. We’ll also guide you step-by-step to make your own plant hanger. Each participant will leave with a propagated plant and a macramé plant hanger.
The macramé plant hanger class is youth-centered, including any adult role.
Friday, Oct. 24, from 4:30 - 7 p.m. at the Christian County Extension Office located at 1120 N. Webster St. in Taylorville
Feel free to come and go at any time — you don’t need to stay for the whole duration.
Let’s grow, create, and connect—one knot and sprout at a time!
This program is FREE and a part of our Taste of Extension event. Register by Oct. 17.
If you missed the registration deadline, you're still welcome to attend! However, please note that due to a limited supply count, which includes those who pre-registered, we cannot guarantee a plant and macrame plant hanger for unregistered attendees.
