Seed Swap with the Kane County Master Gardeners
Get a jump on the growing season with the 1st Kane County Master Gardener Community Seed Swap! Join us to learn about and try winter sowing, seed balls, and microgreen projects to take home! And, choose from a variety of vegetable, flower, and herb seeds to use this year.
Plus,
- Get advice and learn about cover crops with Local Food Systems and Small Farms Educator Alexis Barnes.
- Master Gardeners also will be available to answer questions.
Who: Adults interested in gardening
When: 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Jan. 25

Cost: $5 per person

- Seed Swap participants can choose from a variety of free vegetable, flower, and herb seeds.
- To bring seeds to share, please make sure they are fresh and labeled, and not from F1 hybrids, so they grow true to type.
