Illinois Food Handlers Training
Let's dig into food safety topics, including food preparation and storage, personal cleanliness, and cleaning and sanitizing. This course is specific for food handlers working in a non-restaurant food establishment in Illinois, such as a nursing home, licensed day care, hospital, school, long-term facility, or retail food store. Food handler training must be renewed every three years, and it is not transferable between employers.
The course is NOT approved for employees working in restaurants. It is also not intended for someone with a valid Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) certificate.
