IL-IN Master Watershed Steward:
IL-IN Master Watershed Steward:
- Trains and supports community leaders to serve and support the protection and conservation of land and water resources.
- Helps develop a network of stewards to serve their communities as catalysts for local environmental conservation through education, research and stewardship.
- Promotes awareness and appreciation for ecological resources.
About the program:
- The program will consist of 8 classes conducted online via Zoom as well as 2 in-person field trips around your local County.
Qualifications:
- Be able to complete the entire course: 8 2-hour sessions, 2 field trips, and out-of-class homework.
- Be interested in environmental stewardship and building resilient communities.
- Live in or near a participating county.
