IDNR's Cecil-White Hill Prairie Tour, August 29, starting at 5 PM to 6:30 PM
For the past 29 years, Angella Moorehouse has worked for the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) as a field representative for the Illinois Nature Preserves Commission in west-central Illinois, where she prepares conservation easements to protect high-quality natural areas and assists in the management and monitoring of flora and fauna of these sites. She has also published 6 insect field guides.
Join Angella on a tour of the IDNR Land and Water Reserve Cecil White Hill Prairie! This 33-acre property features loess hill prairie. We hope to find some rough blazing star in bloom this fall.
Please note that this prairie tour’s trail is rated as difficult with steep inclines.
