Homegrown Healthy 2026

Homegrown Healthy is a 10-week adult program that will provide you with the knowledge to grow your own vegetable garden, an introduction to hydroponics, and a tasting of new foods made with garden produce. Please be committed to attending the full series of classes. We will meet from 10:00-11:00 am every Wednesday starting May 27th, but skipping July 1st. Classes will meet in Dillon Mall at Sauk Valley Community College before heading to the garden. If you need a reasonable accommodation to attend, call the registration office at 815-544-3710. Early requests are strongly encouraged to allow sufficient time to meet your needs.
