Homegrown Harvest is a series of free, family-friendly vegetable garden workshops designed to support vegetable gardeners of all skill levels. Join horticulture educator Sarah Vogel for tips and tricks to making your garden successful. On March 27, we'll start seeds for the garden in the J. Morris building. Hands-on garden workshops will be held on April 17 and May 8 in the Southside Hill Community Garden. We'll learn about cool and warm-season crops, safely harvesting food, and managing weeds, pests, and diseases in the garden. Bring your questions, gloves, and sunscreen! Due to the nature of outdoor programs, sessions may be canceled for safety during inclement weather. Look for more Homegrown Harvest dates in the summer!
