Join us for the 2025 Home, Lawn, and Garden Day, hosted by the University of Illinois Extension McLean County Master Gardeners! This event is packed with expert-led workshops, engaging keynote sessions, and opportunities to explore exhibitors and vendors offering the latest in gardening and sustainability solutions.

Event Details:
  • Date: Saturday, March 1, 2025
  • Location: Central Catholic High School, 1201 Airport Road, Bloomington, IL 61704
  • Time: Check-in begins at 8:00 AM
  • Fee: $40 per person (Make & take workshop will have an additional fee.)

Event Highlights:
  • Opening Session: 'Celebrate the 20-year legacy of the ISU Horticulture Center' with Jessica Chambers.
  • Keynote Speaker: Marshall Dirks, Director of Marketing at Proven Winners will unveil the newest plant introductions for 2025 and share insights into the plant selection process.
  • Youth Component with 4-H Staff: Do you have a young gardener who loves digging in the dirt and exploring the world of plants? This year, children in kindergarten through 6th grade can attend the event for free with a paid adult. Kids will enjoy a fun-filled, self-contained adventure, featuring crafts, snacks, and hands-on gardening activities led by 4-H staff, all while adults attend their chosen sessions. Space is limited!

  • 9:30 AM-- Visit Exhibitors
  • 10:00 AM-- Breakout Session 1 (45 minutes)
  • 10:45 AM-- Visit Exhibitors & Enjoy Snacks
  • 11:15 AM-- Breakout Session 2 (45 minutes)
  • 12:10 PM-- Keynote Speaker (in Auditorium)
