Heart-Healthy Soups: Flavorful Techniques for Better Nutrition | Christian County

Soup is nutritious and generally inexpensive to prepare. Learn about the many varieties of soups, how to layer different flavors, and how to develop delicious flavor without added salt. The class invites participants to practice techniques for making flavorful soups, taste-test hearty soup recipes, and make informed decisions about lowering blood pressure.

The class will take place at Taylorville Memorial Hospital on Oct. 22, 2024, from 5 pm to 7 pm at no cost. Park in parking lot C on the Northeast side of the hospital. The class will take place in TMH Conference Room 179, the all-purpose room. If you are unsure where to go, check with the front desk attendants when you walk into the main entrance.
