Discover the history, practice, and joy of herbal teas at this garden tea party! Explore the fascinating origins of tea and how tea gardens have shaped cultures around the world. Learn what makes a great cup of tea—from the flavors of different herbs to how they blend beautifully together. Master Gardeners will also share how to grow your own tea herbs at home, whether in a garden bed or a small container, so you can create your own personal tea garden with ease.
 
During the workshop, you will:
  • Sample a variety of herbal teas and blends
  • Learn how different herbs contribute flavor and aroma
  • Plant and assemble a mini container tea garden with herbs you can continue to grow and harvest
 
What You’ll Take Home:
  • A mini tea container garden
  • Three custom herbal tea blends
  • Educational resources on growing herbs and making tea at home
