Four Seasons Gardening Webinar - Natives: Sequence of Bloom (4/25/23)

Native plants are essential components of a sustainable landscape, and many offer blooms to brighten any garden.  Join Elizabeth Wahle, Commercial Agriculture Educator, as she presents a selection of Illinois native plants suitable for the home garden in order of bloom from late winter to fall.  In addition to time of bloom, she will discuss size, aggressiveness tendencies, light needs, and soil moisture needs.  By the end of the presentation, listeners should have a good feel for what characteristics to look for when selecting a native plant for their garden.
