Fossil Fun - Seneca
Travel back in time and discover the prehistoric past of the Illinois Valley! We’ll read The Dinosaur Lady by Linda Skeers and learn how fossils help scientists understand ancient life. Kids will explore local fossils from Illinois, see real examples, and learn about the creatures that lived here long before people. The program wraps up with a hands-on activity where participants create their own fossil using air‑dry clay to take home. Perfect for curious kids who love dinosaurs, animals, and getting creative!
