Follow the Drop: Illinois Water from Source to Tap
Everyday Environment Webinar Series
Thursday, March 13 at 1pm CTIllinois is a very diverse state when it comes to water resources and where your water comes from depends on both the quantity available and the drinking water quality of each source and its susceptibility to contamination. Today, we are going to describe the sources of drinking water available to Illinoisans, describe what your water goes through from source to tap whether on a community water supply or a private well, and identify areas where geology or natural contaminants limit the availability of drinkable water in the state.
Presenter: Steve Wilson, Groundwater Hydrologist, Illinois State Water Survey
