First Impressions: Stand Out as a Job Applicant

In this interactive workshop, you'll gain real-world skills that can help you feel confident when applying for jobs, meeting employers, and interviewing for opportunities. From handshakes and applications to resumes, cover letters, and career goals, you'll leave ready to put your best foot forward and make employers remember you.

Join 4-H Youth Educators, Kelly Lafferty and Martha Ebbesmeyer, for a day of learning how to be a standout applicant when applying/interviewing for a job. This teen workshop (ages 13 to 18) will take place on Saturday, November 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Highland Community College (parking lot B, Community Services building) located at 2998 W Pearl City Road in Freeport. The cost to attend is $10 per person, which includes lunch.
