Do you think you are seeing more ticks than usual in your area? It may be that they are increasing in number and new species are moving in. During this presentation, you can learn more about Dr. Teresa Steckler's research study on ticks and find out how you can get involved as a citizen scientist. This research helps map where ticks are found, identify the pathogens they carry, and help prevent the spread of diseases. This program will take place at the Extension office in Carmi on August 14 at 6 pm. It is free to attend, but registration is requested.
