Feeling a Little "Ticky?"

This registration has been archived.
Have you been thinking that those nasty little bugs are everywhere? It may be that ticks are increasing their numbers and different species are in your area. Help us to know if that is really true by collecting ticks anytime you or family members, including pets encounter them.

Join Extension Specialist Dr. Teresa Steckler for a presentation on Ticks in Illinois at the Winnebago County Forest Preserves at 5500 Northrock Drive in Rockford on April 14 at 6 p.m. or at the Jo Daviess County Extension Office, 204 N. Vine Street, Elizabeth, IL on April 15 at 6 p.m.

Learn about her research study on Ticks and have the opportunity to be a part of Citizen Science by volunteering to gather data on ticks.

This program is co-sponsored by Illinois Extension and the Forest Preserves of Winnebago County.

If you need a reasonable accommodation to attend this program, please call our office at 815-986-4357 for the Rockford program and 815-858-2273 for the Jo Daviess County program. Early requests are strongly encouraged to allow sufficient time to meet your needs.
