Federal Legislative Update

Thursday, February 6 at 12 PM CT

Every year, changes to federal legislation can have a significant impact on Illinois communities and require careful evaluation to ensure sound fiscal and administrative management of vital programs and resources. Local administrators, civic leaders, businesses, and public/non-profit professionals are invited to this annual webinar, provided by the National Association of Counties (NACo), to learn about key federal policy updates.

NACo is a bi-partisan organization based in Washington D.C., which works to ensure county priorities are represented in federal legislation packages.

About the speaker:

Owen Hart is an Associate Legislative Director at NACo and will discuss any implications of federal legislation for Illinois counties and local governments. Participants will have an opportunity to engage during a Q&A session at the end of the presentation.

All registrants will receive a follow-up email with a webinar recording and program materials.

If you will need an accommodation to participate in these webinars, please send a request to mdelany2@illinois.edu. Early requests are strongly encouraged to allow sufficient time to meet your access needs.
