FCS: Healthy Teens

Get ready for a summer of healthy eating fun with Illinois Extension and the Danville Public Library! This 3-week series will equip teens with the knowledge and skills to navigate the grocery store and make informed food choices. This series will take place at the library, 319 N Vermilion St, Danville, IL.

All sessions are from 2-3 p.m. on the following dates:
  • July 8 - Are You Able to Read the Label? Learn how to decode food labels and make healthy choices based on nutrient information.
  • July 15 - Snack Attack! Discover healthy snacking options to keep your energy levels up throughout the day.
  • July 22 - Mindful Eating Explore mindful eating practices to develop good habits for a healthy relationship with food

Register by July 5th to reserve your spot. You do not have to sign up for each session, but the deadline to sign up for all sessions is July 5th.
