This was the 4-H STEM Challenge from 2022. It involves learning about ocean health, exploration, and the science concepts behind submersibles.
There will be four sessions:
June 11 | Session 1: Learn about the challenge, building a model, and interpreting data.
June 18 | Session 2: Buoyancy, ballast, and density while participants test their models to achieve neutral buoyancy.
June 25 | Session 3: Play a game to learn about the challenges of ocean exploration.
July 2 | Session 4: Using communication and design skills to create an ocean advocacy message based on what they have learned about during the program!
