EPC Essential Training: Leading Volunteers

 

 

Join us for an in-depth training session designed specifically for staff who manage volunteers. This program will equip you with essential skills in communication, conflict resolution, onboarding volunteers, and volunteer management systems. Additionally, you'll gain expertise in meeting facilitation and group dynamics to lead more effective and engaging sessions. The training will also include a program-specific overview with a year-at-a-glance for 4-H, NREE, and AAB. Don’t miss this opportunity to elevate your volunteer management skills and make a greater impact within your program area!

 

 

This training takes place the day after the quarterly New Staff Orientation and is tailored for EPCs involved in volunteer management. It’s particularly relevant for EPCs in roles like 4-H, NREE, AAB, and CED with traditional field responsibilities, such as managing volunteers and leading committee or volunteer meetings. While some EPC roles may not align with this training, the decision to participate rests with the supervisor. This training is intended to be completed once during the onboarding process, but EPCs who have completed onboarding may attend with the approval of their Unit Director.
