Dried Flower Bouquets

Join University of Illinois Extension Jo Daviess County Master Gardener volunteer Karen Arauz-Reed for a program on dried floral bouquets. This program will take place on Thursday, October 22 at 1:30 p.m. at the Jo Daviess County Extension Office, 204 N. Vine Street, Elizabeth, IL. There will be a $10 fee to attend and pre-registration is required as seating is limited.

During this program, Master Gardener volunteer Karen will walk participants through how to create a beautiful dried flower arrangement of their own using native and prairie plants and grasses that we can all grow in our home landscapes! Participants will go home with their bouquets and a knowledge of what plants they may already have growing that they can use for future bouquets or what they may want to try planting to use in the future as well as tips and tricks for making an eye appealing bouquet. All materials needed will be provided.
