Dementia Friendly Training at McKechnie Family LIFE Home

Become a Dementia Friend by attending this interactive training on April 27th from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at McKechnie Family LIFE Home (75 Bailey Dr, Champaign, IL 61820). This session will build your awareness and practical skills for supporting individuals living with dementia in your professional or community role. You’ll learn how dementia can impact communication, decision-making, and daily functioning, along with simple, effective strategies to better recognize and respond to those needs.

No prior experience or knowledge of dementia is required. Join a growing movement of community members working to create a more supportive and inclusive environment—because small actions can make a big difference.
