Delicious Discoveries Cooking Camp, where culinary adventures meet youthful creativity! Designed specifically for the vibrant minds of 4th, 5th, and 6th graders, this camp is a delectable journey into the world of cooking, flavors, and fun.

At Delicious Discoveries, we believe that the kitchen is a playground where imagination thrives, and palates expand. Through hands-on cooking experiences, interactive demonstrations, and engaging physical activities, campers will embark on a flavorful exploration that will ignite their passion for food and cooking.

Led by University of Illinois Extension Staff: Ryan Littlejohn, Wayne County 4-H Program Coordinator and Jane Jones, SNAP-Ed Community Worker, our camp offers a safe and supportive environment where young chefs can unleash their culinary curiosity. From mastering basic kitchen skills to experimenting with new ingredients, campers will gain confidence in the kitchen while developing a lifelong appreciation for good food and healthy eating habits.

Whether it's whipping up savory dishes, crafting sweet treats, or discovering the cultural diversity of cuisines from around the globe, Delicious Discoveries Cooking Camp promises to inspire, educate, and tantalize the taste buds of our young chefs. This will be held July 22-25, 2024 from 9-11 am at the Mt. Erie Nazarene Church located at 2481 Co Rd 1800 N, Mt. Erie, IL 62446. The information entered should be that of the participant.
