Cumberland County Life Skills First Aid and Fire Prevention (Workshop #2)
The American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED/First Aid course includes:
• Recognizing life-threatening emergencies and activating EMS (calling 911)
• Adult, child, and infant CPR
• Safe and effective use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
• Relief of choking in adults, children, and infants
• Basic first aid, including bleeding control, burns, fractures and sprains, shock, environmental emergencies, and common medical emergencies, such as stroke, diabetic emergencies, heart attack, drowning, etc.
• Hands-on practice using CPR manikins and AED trainers to build confidence in responding to emergencies
• American Heart Association Heartsaver eCard upon successful completion (if certification is desired)
You must be 10 years old or older to attend.
The course will be held on 10/17/26 at 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the Greenup Fire Department.
This course is sponsored by the Toledo Masonic Lodge and is therefore free to attend. If you are a no-show and do not cancel in advance, you will be charged the $85 course fee.
