October 12 | 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM
Atlanta Public Museum, Event Hall, 114 SW Arch St., Atlanta, IL 61723
Are you a homesteader or gardener with an abundant herbal harvest and wondering what to do next? The urge to plant herbs in spring is strong, and by summer or fall, your garden is brimming with plants ready to be harvested. But how can you preserve their freshness and transform them into something special?
Join Amy Wertheim of Wertheim's Gardens in Atlanta, IL, and Nick Frillman, University of Illinois Extension Educator, for a hands-on Herbal Holiday Gifts Workshop on October 12th from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
Amy, with years of experience in herbal cultivation and preservation, will guide you through the best culinary, medicinal, and tea plants for your garden. She'll also share how to transform your herbal bounty into unique, handcrafted gifts—perfect for the holiday season.
