Create Better Health - Winnebago County

Please join Tashara Grandys, Food and Health Systems Educator - Illinois Extension, for the Create Better Health program. This program is an 8-class, hands-on nutrition education program designed to help adults build practical skills for healthy eating and active living on a budget.

Each session focuses on small, realistic, and affordable changes to support better nutrition and physical activity. Participants will enjoy conversations, games, and prizes while learning simple strategies they can use right away in everyday life. The program helps build confidence in the kitchen, encourages sharing ideas with others, and supports making the most of the foods already at home.

Create Better Health will meet at the Neighborhood Market, 1397 Sandy Hollow Road, Rockford.

Classes will meet on the following Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to Noon. It is recommended that you attend all sessions. There is no fee to attend this program.
