This hands-on CPR training is designed for youth who want to become certified and prepared for real‑life emergencies. Perfect for teens interested in babysitting, this course teaches essential lifesaving skills and provides an official CPR certification. Led by trained professionals from Kirby Medical Center, participants will gain confidence and practical knowledge they can use to help keep children and families safe.
Please note: CPR certification requires successful completion of the hands‑on skills portion, including the ability to perform chest compressions on a manikin. Some youth may not yet be physically strong enough to meet this requirement. If a participant does not pass the hands‑on assessment, they may not receive certification; however, they will still leave with important knowledge about CPR, emergency response, and how to help in a crisis.
