Join us for a hands-on container gardening workshop designed to help you create beautiful, thriving planters for your home and community. Participants will learn essential skills, including plant selection, soil preparation, proper watering techniques, and seasonal maintenance. Guided by University of Illinois Extension Master Gardener Jack Ingram and local partners, you’ll design and plant your own 12-inch container to take home while also contributing to a community beautification effort in downtown Toledo Square. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refresh your gardening knowledge, this interactive workshop offers practical tips, expert guidance, and the opportunity to connect with others while making a visible impact in your community.
