Composting is an easy way to do your part for the planet.  Not only do you keep perfectly good food waste from heading to the landfill, but you also create your own soil amendment without buying it from the store.  Composting can happen in a very small space and yet produces black gold for your plants. If you have wanted to compost but just have not started, this program will get you excited while helping you find a compost system that will work for you and your home.

Please join Peggy Anesi (University of Illinois Extension Natural Resources, Environment, and Energy Educator) for this free webinar on composting by filling out and submitting your registration below.

This program is being offered by University of Illinois Extension and DeKalb County Health Department.

If you have questions or would like to request a reasonable accommodation, please contact Connie Handel (Program Coordinator) at cahandel@illinois.edu or 815-758-8194.  University of Illinois Extension provides equal opportunities in programs and employment.
