Trees are an essential part of Carlinville’s urban landscape, offering shade, evaporative cooling, habitat for local wildlife, and beauty throughout the seasons. This free workshop and community tree‑planting event invites Carlinville residents to learn more about the trees that help shape our town. Explore what makes up Carlinville’s urban forest, gain hands‑on experience planting a tree correctly, and learn how to prune trees properly.

Date: Saturday, April 25, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM - Noon

Location: 1018 Loveless Pkwy, Carlinville, IL 62626

All necessary supplies will be provided (gloves, safety glasses, shovels, etc.)

All community members, regardless of skill-level or experience, are invited to join for this event! Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
