Clinton County Fall Hort for the Holidays

Fall is a great time to get creative with horticulture! Join us for a fun, hands-on workshop and create a decorative arrangement to enjoy throughout the fall season.

Join Illinois Extension from 1–3 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, at the Clinton County Illinois Extension Office for a Decorative Fall Broom Workshop.

Local volunteers will guide participants in creating a decorative fall broom using cut flowers and botanicals arranged on a premade cinnamon broom. Along the way, you’ll learn about cut flowers, basic design elements, and techniques you can use to create your own botanical arrangements. Take home your finished broom to display on your porch, door, or entryway this fall!
