This registration has been archived.
Join Illinois Extension and Nicholas Conservatory on Wednesday, April 10 at 5:30 p.m. at Nicholas Conservatory for a lively program: Cicadas 2024 — A Once in a Lifetime Experience. Learn more about the upcoming May and June appearances of Broods XIII and XIX, the life cycle of cicadas, what to expect in our area, and why this is a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence for most people. Russ Higgins, retired Extension Educator, and insect enthusiast, will call upon his many years of providing insect and pest information to the public as he shares pertinent information about cicadas. He will also address what might be most susceptible in backyards and how the home landscape can be protected from them.

This presentation is offered at no charge in partnership with Illinois Extension and Nicholas Conservatory. The program will be held at the Nicholas Conservatory, 1354 N. 2nd St., Rockford, IL 61107, on Wednesday, April 10 at 5:30 p.m.
