Charter Coach Trip to Chicago Botanic Garden

Join the Master Gardeners of Peoria County for a delightful day at the stunning Chicago Botanic Garden! This trip is open to the public, you do not need to be a Master Gardener to attend, so invite your gardening friends, neighbors, and plant-loving family members!

We’ll travel together by bus from the Illinois Extension, Peoria Branch for a carefree day of inspiration, exploration, and fun. Along the way, enjoy garden-themed games, trivia, and door prizes to make the ride both educational and entertaining.

Once we arrive, you’ll have time to explore the Garden at your own pace, wander breathtaking display gardens, discover new plant ideas, peruse the Garden Shop, or simply soak in the beauty. We’ll gather at the Picnic Glade to enjoy a delicious catered lunch from Avanti's before a little more exploration and then heading home, refreshed and inspired.

Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just love spending time among beautiful blooms, this is a wonderful opportunity to connect, learn, and enjoy a relaxing day surrounded by nature.

Cost:
The trip rate is $75 per person, which covers the bus, parking and toll fees, admission to the gardens, catered picnic lunch as a group, and snacks on the bus.
There will be water and snacks available on the charter coach (Peoria Charter). You may choose to bring your own lunch if you have allergies or dietary restrictions.
