Certified Food Protection Managers

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates 48 million people fall ill from foodborne diseases each year, and approximately 128,000 individuals require hospitalization. Businesses serving food in Illinois must have staff trained as Certified Food Protection Managers to maintain food safety. 

The two-day course includes the exam and covers the current FDA Food Code, including safe food preparation, cooking and handling, facility safety and maintenance, employee health and hygiene, and cleaning and sanitization.

June 29 & 30 | 9am-3pm
Participants must attend both days.

Registration Deadline
Register by June 5. Register each student separately, even if from same business or organization.

Cost for this course and exam is $75/person.

Language
Class education and printed materials will be provided in English.

Exam Details
Exam is from National Registry of Food Safety Professionals and is valid for 5 years. Exam will be provided in English; students will test on Day 2.
