In the case of retaking the certified food protection managers certification exam, you may retake the examination whenever you are ready to go. There is a $50.00 charge for the exam to cover the test and mailing. You may only take the exam twice in a 30-day period and must wait for a full 24-hours between the 1st and 2nd attempts. If you fail the 2nd time, you must wait 60 days from your last exam attempt before taking a third time. No more than four attempts in a 12 month period.
