CCMG: Children's Program: Food, Flowers, and Friends: Meet the Pollinators!
The registration has not been approved.
Date: July 11, 2026
Time: 9 am and 10:30 am
Location: Idea Garden, located near the intersection of South Lincoln Ave and West Florida Ave
Speaker: Heather Miller
What do flowers, food, and pollinators have in common? We all like pretty flowers, and everyone needs food to survive, but we wouldn’t have either without the help of some little friends called pollinators! Come learn more about many different types of pollinators and how they help us grow flowers and food around the world. Join us at the Idea Garden, which is located near the intersection of South Lincoln Ave. and West Florida Ave. in Urbana, on the University of Illinois campus. After the program, each participant will have an opportunity to participate in a craft that they get to take home - a cute bee made out of beads!
