Learn safe water bath canning techniques in this hands-on workshop! We’ll cover the basics of canning, how to safely adjust salsa recipes, and boost your confidence in preserving at home. You'll make a peach apple salsa and take home a jar you canned yourself!
Those under the age of 16 need to be accompanied by an adult.
WHEN: Tuesday, Aug. 5 from 6 to 8 p.m.
WHERE: Christian County Extension Office (11120 N. Webster St. in Taylorville)
COST: $10.00 fee to cover the cost of supplies
