Beginning Forest Landowner Program Short Course
The short course includes a 4-hour virtual class and a choice of three field days held throughout the state. The virtual class was conducted on September 11 and covered forest management and management planning for different goals. You can still sign up for the field days. The field days will offer an opportunity to see forest practices in the field and learn more about forest management in a hands-on setting. You need not attend the virtual course to attend the field-day.

Topics covered - invasive plants, prescribed fire, chainsaw milling demo, managed forest tour
