Beginner Sewing Workshop
Ready to try your hand at sewing? This beginner-friendly workshop is the perfect place for youth to learn the basics of using a sewing machine in a fun, supportive environment. Participants will work on a simple sewing project they can proudly take home, no experience needed!
Youth are welcome to bring their own sewing machine if they’d like, but don’t worry if they don’t have one. All supplies are included, and our instructors will guide participants step-by-step as they build skills, boost confidence, and spark creativity.

Time: 5:30 – 7:30 PM
Location: Montgomery County Extension located at 1 Industrial Park Drive in Hillsboro
Cost: FREE
Ages: 8–18 - Youth do NOT have to be a 4-H member to participate in this workshop!
For ages 8-12- An adult must stay with youth.
For ages 13-18- An adult is not required but recommended to stay with youth.
