Actions to Reduce Water Pollution

Actions to Reduce Water Pollution
Everyday Environment Webinar Series
Thursday, May 8 at 1pm CT

What’s in your water? How can your actions help reduce and prevent water pollution? Join us as we discuss the most common water pollutants and how you can prevent water pollution by paying attention to what you put down the drain in your home and how you manage your landscape. We’ll also discuss the water treatment process to learn more about how our water gets cleaned up before it ends up back in our waterways.

This webinar will be presented by Sarah Zack, Pollution Prevention Specialist, Abigail Garofalo, Natural Resources, Environment, and Energy Educator, Eliana Brown, Water Quality and Stormwater Specialist, and Peggy Anesi, Natural Resources, Environment, and Energy Educator.

This webinar is part of the Everyday Environment Webinar Series. Each webinar is recorded and uploaded to the Everyday Environment Webinar playlist on University of Illinois Extension's YouTube channel: go.illinois.edu/everydayenvironmentrecordings.
