Academic Professional Essential Training Series- Quarterly training sessions designed to build essential skills and competencies in Extension Professionals.  The four part series covers Program Planning and Assessment, Facilitation, Meaningful and Engaging Learning Experiences, and Community Partnerships.   

New Academic Professionals are expected to complete all four topics within two years of employment as an Academic Professional.
 

Topic: Community Engagement
In this session, you will learn to effectively identify and assess community strengths, weaknesses, and resources, helping you develop a clear snapshot of the areas you work in. Furthermore, gain clarity on your role as an educator in connecting campus and community assets, aligning with broader plans and initiatives. Don’t miss this chance to build your skills and become a more effective community advocate!
