4-H Teacher Training

Join us in the River Room at Shawnee Community College's main campus on October 21, 2026 for a practical, hands-on teacher training that will introduce educators to several 4-H resources and programs that can be used in the classroom, school clubs, or after school programs. Learn about how University of Illinois Extension and 4-H can support the work you're already doing in your school! Proposed training topics include 4-H School Clubs, Welcome to the Real World (financial literacy), Cooking 101, and Health Rocks. The workshop will take place from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. CPDU's and lunch will be included. Register by October 9th to secure your spot!
