All 4-H members ages 5-18 are invited to participate. Cost is $25 per participant. Participants are asked to register by Friday, March 6. Class sizes will be limited so early registration is encouraged.
4-H Super Saturday will be held Saturday, March 21 at the Adams County Extension Office, 330 S. 36th Street, Quincy from 9 a.m. - Noon.
4-H members will have the opportunity to explore up to three different project areas and participate in hands-on activities. Sessions for the project workshop include: Cloverbud Fun; Cut, Fold, Create; Forest Explorers; Marshmallow Madness; Science Sparks; Brick by Brick; Snap & Edit; Animal Science 101; Stitch & Style; Sketch & Shade.

Class Descriptions:
- Cloverbud Fun - Ages 5 - 7 | 4-H members will engage in hands-on activities that encourage participation, learning and teamwork. Games, crafts and snack will all be included in the Cloverbud fun!
- Cut, Fold, Create - Ages 8+ | 4-H members will create greeting cards for the Visual Arts-Paper project area.
- Forest Explorers - Ages 8+ | Master Naturalist volunteers will guide 4-H members through tree identification, leaf and bark characteristics, and the importance of forests for wildlife and people.
- Marshmallow Madness - Ages 8+ | 4-H members will learn the basics of Cooking 101 including measuring wet and dry ingredients, mixing techniques, and nutrition. Each participant will prepare and take home cereal-marshmallow bars (Rice Krispy treats) from the Cooking 101 project manual.
- Science Sparks - Ages 8+ | Participants will explore science concepts through activities that spark curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and show how STEM connects to everyday life. From cool reactions to creative problem-solving, this session is all about discovery and innovation.
- Brick by Brick - Ages 8+ | Get creative with LEGO! In this hands-on session, participants will use colorful bricks to design and build imaginative structures while learning about problem-solving, patterns, and spatial thinking. It’s all about creativity, collaboration, and having fun as you bring your ideas to life—brick by brick!
- Snap & Edit - Ages 8+ | Learn the basics of photo editing and turn ordinary pictures into amazing creations! Participants will explore simple tools and techniques to adjust brightness, crop, add filters, and enhance images.
- Animal Science 101 - Ages 8+ | Discover what it takes to keep livestock healthy and thriving! In this session, participants will learn the basics of animal nutrition, proper care practices, and how medications are used to maintain herd health.
- Stitch & Style - Ages 8+ | This is a 2 hour session - participants must choose this for the 9 AM and 10 AM sessions. Learn the basics of sewing and create something fun! Participants will practice simple stitches, explore how to use fabric, thread, lay out patterns, and discover tips for making projects neat and stylish. If you have a sewing machine, pins, sewing scissors, please bring those with you. This is a 2 hour session.
- Sketch & Shade - Ages 8+ | Discover the basics of drawing! Participants will learn simple techniques for creating lines, shapes, and shading to bring their artwork to life.
