4-H Sewing SPIN Club 2026

Join Our 4-H Sewing SPIN Club!
Are you a young creative mind eager to learn the art of sewing? Look no further! Our 4-H Sewing Club is the perfect place for you to unleash your creativity and develop new skills. 
This club will allow you to learn how to use a sewing machine, create your very own pillowcase, and get started on quilting.

What We Offer:
  • Expert Instructors: Learn from experienced sewing professionals who are passionate about teaching.
  • All Materials Provided: No need to worry about supplies – we've got you covered!
  • Free Sewing Kit: Each New member receives a complimentary sewing kit to kickstart their journey. (Returning members will receive refill supplies for your sewing kit)
  • Sewing Machines Available: They will be set up and ready to go.
  • Free 4-H Clothing project guide for New Members

Session dates and times: (Vermilion Extension Office - Danville, IL)

  • March 28, 2026: Getting to know your machine and sew your own pillowcase (ages 10-18) 9 to 3 pm (LUNCH PROVIDED from noon to 1 p.m.)
  • April 18, 2026: Work on sewing projects (ages 10-18) 9 to 3 pm (LUNCH PROVIDED from noon to 1 p.m.) 


Cost is $10.00 per session for all participants enrolled.

If you are not a 4-H member, your membership fee to 4-H in the amount of $20.00 per youth will be paid for by the donation made by the Carlton Family. To enroll your youth into 4-H with the fee waiver to join this club, please contact Megan at 217-300-2616. The cost of $10.00 per session is still due at time of registration. Contact Information

If participant does not have prior sewing experience or has not attended previous Sewing SPIN Club classes, participant is required to attend the first session before attending the second session.
