4-H Pharmacy Workshop

Join us for an introduction to pharmacy! You will learn about how important gloves and handwashing are and test your skills with a blacklight-sensitive competition. Learn about the different places pharmacists work and the special clothes required for some of those places. You’ll get a chance to practice measuring liquids and see how much medicine is really in a tablespoon. Test your attention to detail by reviewing a medical history and dispensing the correct amount of medication. This program is open to ANY youth ages 8-18 years old.
The workshop will take place from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. on March 7, 2023 at the UIC College of Pharmacy at Rockford located at 1601 Parkview Ave. Rockford. There is no cost for this workshop.
