4-H Goat Club
Meetings: SUNDAY - May 5, 19, June 2, 16, 30, and July 14  from 2 - 3:30 PM at the Rock Island County Fairgrounds, East Moline.
Members can also participate in the Mercer or Rock Island County 4-H Goat Show during fair week!

You'll learn important life skills by joining the Goat SPIN Club learn-by-doing experience! Life skills included are making decisions, solving problems, relating to others, planning, organizing, and communicating with others. Bring your goat or leasing options are available for the meetings and learn how to judge and select goats, feed and manage goats, fit and show goats.

Don't have a goat, live in town? No worries, you can lease a goat! Your leased goats will be waiting for you at the fairgrounds at each meeting. Or bring your own goat. There are a limited number of goats for lease, so don't delay register today!
Rock Island County Show day will be Friday, July 19th at 9 am.
Mercer County Show day will be Thursday July 11th at 8 a.m.
Registration will close on April 29th. Youth ages 8 to 18 as of September 1, 2023 are eligible to participate. Cost: 4-H members: $50 goat lease. Non-4-H Member's will be charged a $20 4-H program fee and a $50 goat lease. You will make the goat lease payment to the goat owner at the time of the first meeting. Individuals who need to sign up for 4-H will be contacted by Jennifer Peterson via email after you have register with helpful steps on how to register online before the first May 5th meeting.
