The 4‑H Buddy program pairs older, experienced 4‑H members with first‑year members to help them feel confident and connected as they begin their 4‑H journey. Serving as a 4‑H Buddy is a meaningful leadership opportunity for seasoned members who want to build relationships and strengthen their leadership skills.

A 4‑H Buddy helps new members:

Feel welcome and included in the club
Make new friends
Learn about 4‑H activities, events, and traditions
Explore the many projects, skills, and opportunities 4‑H has to offer
