4-H Beekeeping Experience

Join the University of Illinois Extension for a Beekeeping Experience hosted by Dry Creek Beekeeping. Participants will suit up for this immersive experience in the world of beekeeping through a guided tour, led by Jo Daviess 4-H alum, founder, co-owner, and educator, Chase Dittmar. The tour offers a unique opportunity to step into the life of a real beekeeper and observe the bees in action. Next, participants will enjoy exploring the wide variety of honey flavors. You’ll learn how bees make honey and what gives it its aroma, color, and taste. And the best part? You’ll get to taste a variety of honeys, from light to dark, each with its own unique flavor.
